Fighting bad design in Apple products one thing at a time.
The blog went down with a Posterous boat and all the recent posts are lost. I am looking into switching to a self-hosted solutions meanwhile. Sorry for the inconvenience.
iBooks: Bookmark sync requires password every time.
Bookmark sync is probably ok, except that now iBooks and App Store are nagging me with password prompt every time I launch them.
And where did my books just go? Shelves were full last time I checked. Ok, I had only free ones there, but also some PDFs of mine. And now there is just lonely Winnie The Pooh again.
Dear Apple, I don’t know, please release iBooks 1.2 or something. Thank you.
iOS: Is there a way to unclutter Recent Apps list?
A suggestion from @drlynn: do not display apps from Dock in Recent Apps list. There is enough clutter as it is. Ofcourse if you’re running an application then they better be displayed when you switch apps.
Another suggestion is to remove iPod (Music) from the Recent Apps list, it’s always there if you swipe left anyway.
iOS4: Do we need folders which we can’t use?
Oh look, folders in iOS. Can I see what’s inside? No. Can I add files in them? No. Can I move them? No. Delete them? No.
Dear Apple, don’t you think that it’s time for iTunes X, rewritten from the ground up? Something that’s more lean, mean and keen.
iOS: One lock screen is enough.
Dear Apple, if my iPhone or iPad is locked it’s redundant to have to slide then unlock. Isn’t having just unlock enough?

Magical and revolutionary BlindType keyboard.
Dear Apple, did you see that? It’s called BlindType and it’s magical and revolutionary. Could we please have this built into next iOS please?
