Fighting bad design in Apple products one thing at a time.
The blog went down with a Posterous boat and all the recent posts are lost. I am looking into switching to a self-hosted solutions meanwhile. Sorry for the inconvenience.
iPod: Start playing the next album when the one I’m listening to ends.
It’s iPod’s 10th anniversary next year. Could you please make it so I could listen my music album after album, non-stop. Yes that simple. Please.
I don’t want to listen in alphabetical order, nor shuffle. Also I don’t want to select next album manually every time. Can’t it just play next album? That’s all.
Every $20 mp3 player on the market does this just fine. Some people say ‘just create a playlist’. Unfortunately it’s not very convenient and besides I’m using ‘Auto-fill with songs’.
Dear Apple, I want to listen my music by albums, it’s not iPod Shuffle anyway. Please make it so next album starts when the current one ends. Thank you.
UPD. I thought iOS4.1 could solve something with the addition of playlists you can create on the device itself. But it just allows you to toss your songs around, not albums.
